Job Description
Our Company is a leading global healthcare organization dedicated to improving health and wellness worldwide. We prioritize integrity, knowledge, and teamwork to bring life-changing therapies to patients. Join our team in China as a Director in Search & Evaluation to identify, evaluate, and champion licensing opportunities in early-stage therapeutics. Collaborate with R&D and BD&L to advance innovative science into our pipeline.
- Act with urgency to identify, evaluate, and enhance our pipeline with cutting-edge science across all therapeutic areas.
- Review partnering opportunities and advocate for new opportunities based on differentiated science.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence teams to build strategic rationale for business development opportunities.
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis to guide business development strategy.
- Support negotiation and completion of licensing deals, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
- Contribute to deal teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Education: PhD in a life sciences discipline.
- Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 10 years in the biopharmaceutical industry, with 3-4 years focused on sourcing and evaluating opportunities.
- Strong scientific knowledge and business acumen.
- Understanding of drug discovery and competitive landscape.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Desire to have an impact and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in project management and contract negotiations.
- Strong networking, organizational, analytical, and computing skills.
