We will count on you to:

Coordinate Client Services

  • Produce and manage business development and revenue generation for the business for East China Team
  • Develop and present new/renewal/prospective presentation to clients and reinsurers to grow revenue
  • Identify and pursue potential opportunities to win new clients and projects to drive overall unit or department revenue growth.
  • Connect with Strategic Advisory, Analytics, Advisory and Accounting and Fiduciary groups to provide expert and technical support to clients

Provide Broker Support

  • Support the best broking practice, which includes client proposal, presentation, market submission, execution, and etc.
  • Support the development and presentation of innovative solutions for client needs and complex risk situations.
  • Coordinate more complex responses to client queries and concerns to ensure issues are resolved completely and promptly.
  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with insurers/ reinsurers, clients, and colleagues to drive high client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of various lines of business and reinsurance markets.

What you need to have:

  • Good academic track record, preferably in a numerical discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintain good client, reinsurer, and internal relationships.
  • Self-motivated to seek out knowledge, test ideas and ways to contribute to the team. Ability to identify trends in the market and find innovation solutions.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills. Comfortable with conducting comparative analysis, managing large amounts of data in an efficient manner.
  • Outstanding project management skills, in planning ahead the different milestones to achieve and execute in a timely manner with strong commitment on quality.
  • Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong language capabilities in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • 3-6 years relevant work experience in (re)insurance industry
