POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • The Martech product owner, GC&M (Greater China & Mongolia) is primarily expected to lead and implement Marketing and Consumer activities projects across the operating unit via the products within Martech stack to drive growth objectives. This role will lead the co-development and execution of the Marketing and Consumer solutions with senior operating unit leaders.
  • The role will be accountable for E2E delivery of the projects, managing the projects through the entire life cycle from conceptualization to initiation to managing development and transitioning to steady state via owning the re-suable products capabilities. This person will define the product roadmap for the solutions and driving delivery of value to the business. In addition, this person is also expected to be hands-on in terms of understanding the scope of the projects they lead, designing consumer journey and mechanisms, do hands on testing of releases and in general have the drive to dive into the details - data, digital technology etc.
  • The role shall provide thought leadership and expertise in the assigned areas especially in the space of digital and technology driven marketing (MarTech tech stack and related products).

The position would report to the Lead of GC&M MarTech, and closely work with product leads, tech lead, data analyst, data architect within Martech team as well as various functions within brand, digital marketing, customer marketing. The candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong track record of delivering projects and re-usable products, organized and self-driven. The candidate needs to be comfortable in matrixed, globally dispersed organization structures with good communication skills to collaborate internally with multi-functional colleagues and externally with IT vendors and bottling partners. The role is part of the Coca Cola company's digital and technology services team and serves the GC&M region. The mission of the MarTech domain is to analytically enable & automate brand building operations to build a competitive advantage for Coca-Cola Marketers in GC&M OU.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Leadership

  • Lead product ownership of consumer facing experiences such as consumer campaigns, engagements, and promotional products as well as internal facing Marketing technologies.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business needs with market research and user analysis and translating these into backlog and roadmap.
  • Define and communicate the vision for the product based on understanding market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on tasks that deliver the most value to the business and its consumers.
  • Create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria to clearly articulate the functionality needed.
  • Pinpoint, analyze and resolve system defects and improve ways of workings, technology.
  • Document processes and research, standards, guidelines, for teams utilizing the solutions and for business trainings.
  • Maintain industry knowledge & a strong Coca-Cola System network to leverage best in class practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Being the forefront of marketers & bottlers, lead stakeholder engagement with the key functional leaders within the Operating Unit and Coca-Cola System network to understand business requirements and objectives, ensuring solutions meet these needs.
  • Co-create, with the Digital Services Lead and Senior Functional Operating Unit leaders the annual digital services plan, aligning to joint OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
  • Contribute to the top priority MarTech data projects all the way from project initiation, chartering, enrolling team members, execution, and closure.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • University Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing Technologies and Consumer product delivery, along with project management expertise. This includes business partnering within a large, multi-geography organization, with a preference for experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Working knowledge of Agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps) and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
  • Experience of end-to-end digital services portfolio and budget management for a business of significant size and complexity

Requirements

  • Experience and expertise in digital marketing technologies, particularly those who have led projects that integrate technology with marketing strategies. The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of the Martech stack and its application in driving business growth.
  • Candidate needs to have a balanced skill set that includes business engagement and product management. Candidate should not only have technical expertise but also the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Experience in market research and user analysis, as these skills are essential for translating market trends and consumer needs into a product vision.
  • Ability to understand business needs and execute on a business strategy, setting expectations.
  • Strong project management skills, including stakeholder management.
  • Good understanding of the technology stack and software development processes.
  • Demonstrated track record of product management and agile delivery methodologies, as well as driving change, including the adoption of digital products and services.
  • Deep understanding of CPG, particularly in the areas of digital marketing, consumer engagement customer partnerships.
