We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin English interpreter to join our team at Future Group Translation and Localization Services. As a remote interpreter, you will provide accurate communication between non-English and English speakers during calls, working in various fields and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
  • Take notes during calls and be aware of specific industry vocabulary, including healthcare and medical terminology.
  • Render all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interpreting and facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient and Client.
  • Participate in internal professional training and be eager to obtain new certifications.
  • Communicate and report to your team leader.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and native in Cantonese/Mandarin.
  • 1+ years of over-the-phone interpretation experience in a well-known interpretation company.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology and awareness of legal terminology.
  • International certifications in the healthcare industry are a plus.
  • High school diploma in your native language.
  • High emotional intelligence and tolerance to different cultures.
  • Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

Technical Requirements:

  • Dedicated high-speed, private, and secured internet connection.
  • Minimum download speed 10 Mbps and upload speed 3 Mbps.
  • Wired Internet, Ethernet Port (Wi-Fi is not allowed).
  • Minimum Windows 10 operating system, dual core, 2 GHZ processor, and 8 GB RAM memory.
