Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Greater China

The Senior Recruiter will drive consistency, optimize processes, and create cohesion across the Monks APAC recruitment team. The Manager will help drive home the vision and Monks mission by creating a transformational work experience with meaningful professional growth and high performance. They will maintain close partnerships with hiring managers, regional leaders, and stakeholders across the business. The individual will focus on hiring needs across Greater China.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in Greater China
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, Data, Finance, and IT teams to support new hires and optimize recruitment processes
- Create comprehensive project plans to achieve recruitment milestones and manage day-to-day efforts
- Align the recruitment team on priorities, disseminate key information, and support department leads
- Drive business impact and improve performance metrics by supporting process improvement initiatives
- Effectively manage the hiring process from start to finish
- Communicate effectively and proactively with cross-functional partners, risks, and issues, priorities, deliverables, and overall status to management and key executive stakeholders
- Partner with systems and business teams to gather technical and functional requirements and help others adapt to new tools and processes
- Develop and communicate standard interview processes and strategy to the team
- Anticipate hiring manager needs and proactively solve problems
- Act as an engaged teammate to others in the talent team
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in recruitment, ideally a mix of in-house and agency
- Experience sourcing candidates through various local channels and international channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience with using an ATS system, ideally Greenhouse but training will also be provided
- A self-starter, highly motivated, and able to shift directions quickly when priorities change
- Detail-oriented and demonstrates an analytical approach to problem-solving, understanding how things affect one another in an overall system
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations
- Care deeply about making strong relationships, especially working with colleagues and mentoring staff
- Experience training Hiring Managers and internal stakeholders on recruitment best practices
- Proactive mindset. Has demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no direction and make thoughtful decisions
- Great presence and polish in person, comfortable and confident in making decisions, get to the heart of the conversation, concise communication
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with acute attention to detail and deliver high-quality work
