Sales Director Skincare

THE ROLE

Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that incorporates Omni Channel thinking to drive Coty's presence in China, focusing on the profitability of Orveda and Lancaster brands, and enhancing the customer journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Management:

  • Develop retail sales plans, set ranking objectives, and achieve market share by door, ensuring fiscal year plans are met.
  • Establish annual and monthly sales forecasts (sell-in and sell-through) to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor and allocate sales resources and budgets on an ongoing basis to optimize performance.
  • Lead the national sales team to achieve strategic business objectives, seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage relationships with key retailers, ensuring inventory mix at the point of sale aligns with retail trends.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop trade marketing programs that maximize store productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure counters adhere to merchandising guidelines and hygiene standards as directed by Visual Merchandising.
  • Regularly monitor and report sales and financial performances, as well as market and competitors' activities, identifying opportunities for further growth.

Team Management:

  • Establish a skincare organization, including recruiting, coaching, and supervising the sales team with clear KPIs and compensation structures.
  • Monthly review of sales and guide performances against KPIs, addressing concerns and initiating actions for improvement.
  • Retain and develop top performers to drive team success.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of sales experience in department store environments, particularly in skincare.
  • Solid management experience in leading regional or national sales forces.
  • Strong numeric and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
