About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Manager to join our team at Haleon. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of medical representatives to achieve sales targets and drive business growth in the hospital sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement district business plans, including target customer lists, professional promotion activities, and personnel development plans.
- Ensure that all medical representatives are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively promote our products and services.
- Manage and develop a team of medical representatives to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with key academic thought leaders and experts to ensure that our marketing activities are academically sound and aligned with market development strategies.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to medical representatives to ensure they are meeting their targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Manage and control budgets to ensure that all district activities are within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, medical directors, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, preferably in a medical or pharmaceutical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
