About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Zoom. As a key member of our fraud detection team, you will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning models to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop machine learning models to detect and prevent fraudulent activities using large datasets and advanced algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our existing systems and processes.
  • Continuously improve and optimize our fraud detection systems, including algorithms, models, and data processing workflows.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to business teams to resolve real-world application issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the team to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, with 2+ years of experience in machine learning and data analysis.
  • Strong foundation in machine learning and data mining, with expertise in deep learning, SVM, decision trees, and random forests.
  • Experience with data processing and feature engineering, with ability to work independently on data cleaning, feature selection, and feature construction.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++, with ability to implement and optimize algorithms and models.
  • Familiarity with big data or distributed computing, with knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Hudi, Flink, and Presto.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with business teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fraud detection or anomaly detection, with expertise in machine learning and data analysis.
