Join Our Team as a Senior Data Scientist(NLP)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist(NLP) to join our Artificial Intelligence and Financial Engineering Team at State Street. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality NLP/NLU related projects and products, and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects.

About the Role

The AI Senior Data Scientist Officer will work closely with other AI agile team members to explore, prototype, and solution use cases, while also building out a portfolio of foundational micro services in State Street's hybrid cloud. You will be responsible for integrating, customizing, and training well-known models and algorithms in open-source libraries to solve financial market problems, and will have the opportunity to mentor and coach junior resources.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality NLP/NLU related projects and products
  • Develop and maintain expertise in natural language processing, natural language comprehension, and machine learning
  • Integrate and customize open-source models and algorithms to solve financial market problems
  • Support IT integration, QA/UAT, and deployment of AI micro services
  • Support production issues related to models and algorithms
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematical finance, or financial engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in modern programming languages, such as Python, C++, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders
