About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Initiatives Manager to join our Digital and New Business team at Bayer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, charter development, and governance of strategic initiatives across medicine, medical devices, and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Report to the Digital and New Solutions (DNS) director and manage key initiatives to ensure high-quality delivery.
  2. Act as PMO to lead planning, charter development, and governance for DNS team strategic initiatives.
  3. Establish a robust innovative project management mechanism to lead launch preparation, launch readiness tracking for digital consultancy pilots, track planning and execution progress of the portfolio sales scale-up in the private sector, and orchestrate cross-layer change management teams.
  4. Participate in the concept design and testing of innovative digital and new business models to achieve business goals for strategic initiatives.
  5. Coordinate across DNS strategic initiatives with project leads, evaluate risks and interdependencies across projects, and identify synergistic opportunities.
  6. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to support DNS product planning and business decision-making.
  7. Build business know-how and knowledge base generated from strategic initiatives to articulate and replicate within the BU.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or above (MBA preferred), with specialization in Medical/Pharmaceutics/Business preferred.
  2. More than 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in mgmt. consulting for healthcare/medical devices/digital health industry.
  3. Strong analytical skills to leverage a variety of technical platforms for collection, review, and dissemination of projects.
  4. Ability to cope under pressure and diligent with attention to detail.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals from a variety of disciplines at all levels.
  6. Self-motivated and self-sufficient.
  7. Fluent Chinese and English.
