Strategic Project Director, Innovation Leadership

As a key member of the Aptar team, the Strategic Project Director, Innovation Leadership will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and execution of specific projects ensuring consistency with Innovation strategy, commitments, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's innovation strategy.
  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, working closely with internal function heads and global partners.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate innovative ideas, guiding teams through the concept development phase.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, risks, and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly within an innovation or product development context.
  • Strong understanding of the innovation process, including ideation, concept development, and commercialization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in English at a business fluent level.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
