Job Title: Strategic Communications Director

Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year

Job Description: We're seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Director to lead our corporate communications efforts and help us achieve our business objectives.

  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans that align with our business goals and brand vision.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including media relations, crisis communication, employee engagement and stakeholder outreach.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content such as press releases, blog posts, executive speeches and social media updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and storytelling.
  • Monitor media coverage, industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, influencers and industry partners.
  • Lead a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize our communication efforts, measuring success and making data-driven improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate communications or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies across diverse channels and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a demonstrated track record of managing high-performing communication teams.
  • Proficient in media relations, crisis communication and public speaking.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems and data analytics.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align communication initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and cross-functional approach, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
