About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strategic thinking, leadership, and project management expertise. As a Deputy Project Director, you'll be accountable for a portfolio of signaling projects, driving strategic transformation programs to maximize results while ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Optimize Project Financial Performance: Be accountable for QCDP performance, optimizing project financials (margin & cash) in line with contractual requirements.
  • Project Governance: Define project strategy, allocate objectives regarding planning, cost, quality, performance, and manage variation orders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project activities, engage teams in successful project achievement, strengthen relationships, and proactively manage risks and opportunities.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Management: Manage customer, partners, and external stakeholders' relationships, ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions, and standards.

Requirements
  • Mandatory: 5 years of experience as a project manager in the railway industry, with at least 2 years of experience in medium-critical projects.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Alstom's way of working, familiarity with signaling systems, and participation in strategic initiatives or workshops.

  • Leadership and Entrepreneurship: Demonstrate leadership skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and result-oriented approach to achieve project goals.

We Offer: A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
