Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

At DSM, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for enabling the capacity to deliver to customers via short and mid-term supply and inventory planning to support agreed customer service levels and throughout the global supply network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage interactions and continuous alignment with demand planning and production sites (including tollers) to align ongoingly demand, inventory, supply, and capacity on the short and mid-term horizon.
  • Create and adjust the inventory, replenishment, supply, and capacity plans on short and mid-term horizon and incorporate into these plans' key material and capacity constraints.
  • Ensure timely delivery and consolidation of accurate supply planning data and present recommendations for the Sales and Operations Planning meeting and communicate the supply network related aspects of the agreed S&OP plan to all supply-related parties efficient and in good time.
  • Define, implement, and control a set of indicators to systematically monitor supply and capacity performance in the underlying manufacturing and tolling network.
  • Identify, define, drive, and lead key actions to enhance the supply planning processes and ensure global consistency of planning data.
  • Support supply chain projects, i.e., integration project, improvement initiatives in supply planning, MRP, and master data.

Requirements:
  • The job requires a holistic view to oversee the entire supply chain, with interactions and dependencies between different sites and external suppliers.
  • The job requires inter-personal skills to connect, understand best practices, and challenge the status-quo.
  • It requires the ability to translate complex input into simple and transparent visuals for all different functions involved, to enable a good understanding and decision-making process.
  • Fluent in English. Bachelor level or above, major in SC management is preferred.
  • Proficient with various software programs, including but not limited to word processing, excel, and database applications.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and planning software SAP and OMP is preferred.
