About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability and Facility Manager to join our team in Shanghai. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and implementing sustainable practices that minimize our environmental footprint.

Job Summary:

  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure effective management of facility operations, maintenance, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption, waste, and water usage.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Responsibilities:

SHE Management
  • Responsible for improving ISO// and AQ/T management systems.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for following Atlas Copco SHE policy and achieving company SHE targets.
  • Train staff on SHE awareness and skills.
  • Erect and commission site SHE audits.
  • Run and supervise daily SHE activities.
Facility Management
  • Manage facility properties to maintain them in good condition.
  • Cooperate with government agencies on legal requirements.
  • Supervise new investments and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Follow Atlas Copco Lost Prevention Requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar function.
  • Heavy machine erection and commissioning site safety management experience preferred.
  • Experience in facility structure management and supervision.
  • Good practical experience in equipment and safety management in manufacturing plants.
  • Safety engineer certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Chinese/Mandarin mother tongue and very good command of written English required.
  • Proven computer skills: professional in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of guidelines for facility management and SHE legal requirements.
  • University degree in mechanical, process engineering, or civil engineering.
  • High level of receptiveness and coordinating abilities.
  • Action and result-oriented.
  • High stress resistance and good team spirit.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive approach and persistent follow-ups.
