Technical Service Manager-Onsite Service Poultry

As a Technical Service Manager-Onsite Service Poultry, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers in the poultry industry. This includes direct farm contact, commercial animal farming, and acting as a technical resource to sales professionals and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support
Provide routine technical support to customers, including interpreting field data and providing feedback on housing, transport, equipment, nutrition, and related matters. Document customer requirements and provide technical guidance related to sales strategy and proposals.
- Value Selling
Develop value for customers by uncovering implied needs and developing those needs. Demonstrate company capabilities by explaining how products and services match customer needs. Support feasibility of standard, customized, partnerships alternatives of new approaches for offered products and services.
- Knowledge Sharing
Introduce new solutions and concepts to customers. Manage communication to the animal breeding industry through in-house publications and press articles. Prepare technical presentations and demonstrate how products meet client needs. Contribute to sales meetings by providing deeper understanding of solutions workings or applications.
- Process Optimization
Develop, monitor, and update written standard operating procedures and process control strategies. Support other organization functions, such as engineering, manufacturing, or quality control, to identify user and/or design problems.
- Tools
Coordinate, execute, maintain, and/or improve various administrative sales processes and systems. Record the outcome of sales calls and plan future actions to move the sale towards a successful conclusion.
- Management Information
Provide insights to management on request or own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments within the area of sales/expertise. Ensure all information is appropriately stored and updated.
- Internal Networking
Maintain and build own product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories. Collaborate with the sales team, product development, and Global Innovation. Prepare and quote customers to advise them appropriately and conclude the sale of product.
- Projects
Participate in various sales and customer service related projects and contribute to project results.
