Job Title: Financial Controller

Department: F&O (Finance & Operations)

Location: Shanghai

The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our Finance & Operations department, you will play a critical role in supporting business expense and compliance through expense review and financial KPI management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business expense and compliance through expense review and financial KPI management;
  • Provide training and consulting to foster and reinforce a culture of full compliance with financial and business ethics policies;
  • Support business spending optimization by providing professional expense analysis and training to support business units in meeting expense budgets and optimizing spending;
  • Ensure compliance with business ethics policies and procedures, including FCPA, RDPAC code, and BE SOP;
  • Continuously improve work procedures to achieve higher levels of productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting;
  • At least 2 years of experience in Big4 or MNC expense review and cost controlling;
  • Familiarity with communication with sales management/sales force;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English;
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferred);
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (preferred).
