Job SummaryWe are seeking an Elementary Homeroom Teacher who embodies a strong commitment to inspirational teaching, effective classroom management, and collaborative teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons, while maintaining a well-organized and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Classroom Instruction:
- Plan and deliver captivating lessons in all subject areas, incorporating diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
- Create a love for learning by establishing a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Homeroom Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for students in the homeroom class.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing timely updates on student progress.
- Curriculum Implementation:
- Implement the school's curriculum effectively, collaborating with specialists and other homeroom teachers to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
- Student Assessment:
- Evaluate student progress through various formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Extracurricular Involvement:
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the overall richness of the school community.
- Qualifications:
- A four-year degree from an accredited university.
- A Bachelor of Education, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience:
- A minimum of three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school.
A competitive salary range of $53,000 - $62,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including:
