Job Overview

Aristotle Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. As a cornerstone for the academic and social development of primary students, you will create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Classroom Instruction:
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to primary students in all subject areas.
    • Foster a love for learning by creating a positive classroom environment.
  • Homeroom Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for students in the homeroom class.
    • Monitor and support the overall well-being, behavior, and social development of students.
  • Curriculum Implementation:
    • Implement the school's curriculum effectively, incorporating diverse teaching methods.
    • Collaborate with specialists and other homeroom teachers to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Parent Communication:
    • Establish open communication with parents/guardians.
    • Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences and provide updates on student progress.
  • Student Assessment:
    • Assess and monitor student progress through various assessments.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Extracurricular Involvement:
    • Participate in school events and functions.
    • Contribute to the school community beyond classroom responsibilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A four-year degree from an accredited university.
  • Bachelor of Education, PGCE, or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual or international school.
