Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SSC Accountant-AP to join our team at MAHLE. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating invoice verification, managing down payments, and ensuring timely payment settlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate invoice verification and follow up on overdue items based on KPI reports.
  • Manage down payments, reconcile opening balances with vendors, and clear pending items in a timely manner.
  • Process payment settlements accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform intercompany open item reconciliations and balance management.
  • Conduct monthly/yearly closing and bank interim account reconciliations.
  • Follow up on monthly AP reports, including down payment, AP aging, and cash flow reports.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors, providing accurate and effective communication.
  • Prepare audit report data, APAR notes, and IC transactions.
  • Train other team members on specific processes and knowledge.
  • Project handovers to solve issues and ensure project targets are met.
  • Prepare management reports to meet management requirements.
  • Manage AP process internal controls, identifying and defining control rules accordingly.
  • Act as a backup to the team leader.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance or Accounting (or a related field).
  • Over 3 years of accounting-related working experience.
  • Good written and listening English skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and knowledge of accounting systems, with SAP preferred.
  • Good knowledge of related accounting regulations and processes.
  • Experience in managing and working with service providers, issue resolution, and improvement plans.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Positive thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as a team player.
