We are seeking a highly skilled TEM Application Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will provide technical support and training to our customers on our leading TEM products.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver on-site and remote scientific application support and training to customers on our TEM products.
- Coordinate customer training and deploy training agendas locally.
- Lead product demonstrations and sample jobs at customer or NanoPort sites.
- Own regional platform and workflow, and benchmarking.
- Generate results for marketing collateral in coordination with Sales Development and Product Marketing managers.
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems and customer queries/complaints.
- Work with sales representatives on sales calls to provide technical and application assistance in response to customer inquiries.
- Assist the regional sales team in the development of accounts by providing technical seminars and presentations that promote the use of our products.
- Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio and scientific developments in TEM and related subjects.
- Mentorship of colleagues.
- Major in Life Sciences, Master's or equivalent degree, higher degree preferred.
- 3+ years of Cryo-TEM experience, or 6+ years of related experience, experienced in biological sample cryo workflow.
- Experience in communicating technical materials in written and verbal form.
- Customer-facing experience, with the emotional intelligence to understand customer concerns.
- Able to connect with and support people effectively with varying levels of technical knowledge and expertise.
- Good digital literacy and familiarity with groundbreaking technology.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%).
- Proficient in English.
