Job Title: Plant Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility in Shanghai. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong focus on achieving production targets, upholding high quality standards, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all operational activities of the plant, focusing on production output, quality control, and timely distribution.
  • Manage supply chain logistics, including the import of raw materials, inventory oversight, and ensuring smooth customs processes.
  • Lead and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Ensure the plant adheres to safety regulations and meets all compliance requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for local regulatory bodies and government agencies.
  • Handle the P&L, ensuring financial targets are met, and managing the budget for capital expenditures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong command of both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
  • In-depth understanding of local regulatory frameworks affecting manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive teams toward success.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in multinational settings is highly desirable.
