Job Overview

As a seasoned project manager at Continental, you will oversee the delivery of cutting-edge automotive projects. Your expertise in project definition, planning, and execution will drive success in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, including project core members and support staff.
  • Establish and maintain a robust project organization structure, ensuring efficient information exchange and documentation.
  • Create and manage initial project plans, adhering to Continental's validated processes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify corrective measures, and control budget and resource utilization.
  • Provide timely project status reports, leveraging established tools and processes.
  • Promote professional change management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the project at customer sites, negotiate with suppliers, and lead customer meetings.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customer stakeholders, addressing their demands and concerns.
  • Lead project team members, tracking issues, monitoring efficiency, and escalating demands to management when necessary.
  • Plan and manage prototypes, ensuring cost transparency and adherence to company workflow.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the automotive industry, preferably with diverse functional areas.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle development processes and international teamwork experience.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
