In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth and develop a robust sales network across China for INEOS Automotive.
About the Role
As our new Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for defining and establishing the INEOS Automotive physical sales network across China. This encompasses all retail network functions and immediate market requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive retail network strategy, roadmap, and vision for the entire China region.
- Lead the creation of an optimal retail network footprint, leveraging macroeconomic indicators, urban science population data, socio-demographic trends, and competitive sales data.
- Identify and engage potential partners at each location, evaluating their capabilities to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Serve as the voice of the region, ensuring regional needs are integrated into central teams' development of retail representation and training plans.
- Collaborate with retail group heads to assess dealership performance, optimizing quality, operations, and profitability.
- Maintain performance using key data insights and work closely with Sales Operation and Aftersales teams to meet customer satisfaction, retention, and sales targets.
- Advise retail network investments, start-of-sales processes, and delivery quality activities.
- Represent the retail network's voice across the business, maintaining standards while balancing partner profitability and customer experience.
Your Ideal Profile
We seek a seasoned professional with 7-10 years in the automotive industry, experienced in collaborating with retail networks, groups, investors, and distributors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of creating and driving successful strategies in market development, expansion, or from-scratch creation.
- Experience in managing retail network performance, distilling complex financial and operational data, and proposing logical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in uncertainty, create structure, clarity, and process, motivating teams and colleagues.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical ability, and understanding of retail partner accounts and performance indicators.
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English language highly desirable.
