Senior Financial Controller for INEOS Automotive China

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management and control principles, with experience in managing complex financial operations across multiple countries. A strong background in automotive finance, particularly in the Chinese market, is highly desirable.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join our team in Shanghai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the Regional Head APAC, as well as driving the development of our China market strategy from a finance perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial oversight and guidance to the Regional Head APAC on strategic matters, ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for the China region, including sales and cash forecasting.
  • Manage relationships with distributor groups across China, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure that all systems and processes are robust and fit for purpose.
  • Guide and support the Regional Head APAC on sales planning, analysis, and reporting, including profitability for the market.

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualification (degree or higher) with 5-10 years post-qualification experience.
  • Significant experience in finance management roles, including exposure to multiple countries and cross-border/global transactions.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in SAP and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence people.
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

Salary: Estimated annual salary range: $120,000 - $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
