About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Planning Specialist to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our People and Culture function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our workforce is aligned with our business ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement people planning strategies at the unit level, ensuring adherence to IKEA employment standards, legal, and union requirements.
- Contribute to the complete people planning process from forecasting to execution, ensuring that scheduled hours include planned absences and liaising with department managers to respond to co-worker, customer, and business needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and escalate any potential deviations to the Unit P&C manager.
- Collaborate with recruiting managers and Unit P&C generalists to ensure vacancies are filled with the right contract type, securing the right preconditions for co-workers to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Develop and implement education, training, and support programs to ensure unit co-worker awareness and knowledge of the people planning process.
