We are currently in search of a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Business Transformation Analyst.

In this pivotal position, the Senior Business Transformation Analyst will spearhead initiation activities and define operating models, playing a crucial role in how Global Transformation implements and sustains change in collaboration with our delivery partners. The primary responsibility will be to manage and execute analysis activities within key programs, leading cross-functional teams focused on Requirements Management, Design, Change Management, and Implementation Management throughout project execution. Senior Analysts often serve as subject matter experts across multiple projects, guiding teams in their approach to Requirements Management and various analytical tasks.

Additionally, the Senior Business Transformation Analyst will oversee Change Management efforts, which encompass early change planning, audience analysis, and the design and delivery of change interventions such as communications, training, and organizational alignment. They will track and act on change readiness, adoption, and feedback, ensuring effective Implementation Management that includes planning, controlling, and reporting on the deployment of change initiatives. This role may also involve team management responsibilities, overseeing junior resources within their team.

Operational Performance:

  • Coordinates the gathering, documentation, prioritization, and traceability of requirements, collaborating with multiple program teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Challenges existing requirements and crafts innovative business solutions to meet agreed-upon objectives.
  • Assists the business in evaluating current operating models and translating strategies into target operating models, considering impacts on customers, products, and processes.
  • Documents and develops targeted benefits for change initiatives.
  • Utilizes financial acumen to create high-level business cases, weighing investment against potential benefits.
  • Architects comprehensive change solutions, detailing all aspects of the change journey and audience impacts.
  • Leads change implementation activities, providing guidance to teams and regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Validates mitigation plans and manages the end-to-end change journey.
  • Defines and recommends creative solution options, balancing risk and reward.
  • Oversees process re-engineering efforts, providing detailed guidance on process design.

  • Supports the PMO and Consulting Leadership team with resource management and scheduling, ensuring the right skill sets are identified for projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a Business Analyst role within the end-to-end Digital Platform domain.
  • Proven track record in analyzing Retail Banking Mobile Platform Products.
  • Experience managing the requirements lifecycle for Customer Journeys across various channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams of Business Analysts in multi-market deployments.
  • Strong understanding of operational impacts related to Digital Platform service failures.
  • In-depth knowledge of risks associated with the Banking Mobile App ecosystem.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HSBC Group structures and objectives.
  • Strong awareness of the external environment, including regulatory and competitive factors.
  • Advanced skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, and design techniques.
  • Expertise in change management and implementation strategies.
  • Proven success as an outstanding analyst or consultant.
  • Broad knowledge of the financial services industry with specific functional expertise.
  • Extensive experience applying various analysis techniques in change environments.
  • Proficient in business case development and understanding design enablers.
  • Strong experience delivering change across diverse audiences in banking settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience managing large, remote teams.
  • Ability to motivate and lead individuals with diverse management styles.
  • Proven ability to work across regions while maintaining a global perspective.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and sponsors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) - Optional.
  • Degree in Business Information Systems or a related field – Optional.
  • Degree in business administration, management, economics, engineering, or science - Optional.
