AP English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified AP English Teacher to join our team at an international high school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position commencing in February 2025.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach English to high school students utilizing the AP framework and ensure an engaging and enriching learning experience.
  • Prepare lessons and lectures, develop tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of our curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targets to support all learners in achieving success and improvement.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents or caregivers.
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in the related subject.
  • Teaching certificate.
  • At least two years of teaching experience in the subject.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good understanding of teaching in the AP context.
