About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and negotiating proposals for electrical and control systems for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare proposals for electrical and control systems, including cost calculations and risk assessments
  • Negotiate contracts with external customers to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Provide technical clarification and negotiation during the bid submission and contract negotiation phase
  • Present proposal results to management, sales, and customers
  • Avoid Non-Conformance Costs (NCC) and ensure successful offer handovers to project implementation teams
  • Support project execution, including participating in inspections and factory acceptance tests
  • Coordinate electrical and control systems design activities and interfaces with internal and external engineering disciplines
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks
  • Ensure compliance with standards, rules, and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or Thermal Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine power plant systems
  • Good knowledge of domestic codes and regulations on power generation
  • Good knowledge and experience in design of gas turbine or steam turbine electrical and control systems
  • Rich experience in power plant electrical and control systems development and supplier qualification
  • Fluent English and Chinese skills in a business environment
