Business Unit Overview

The Payment unit at HRS Group is responsible for the end-to-end customer journey, from technical consultative selling to smooth ongoing operations for customers of our payment solutions. Our team understands customer requirements, demonstrates the value and capabilities of our payment solution offerings, addresses technical inquiries, and builds trust with prospects and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide consultative support to clients by understanding their unique payment challenges, offering expert advice on payment solutions, and guiding them in making informed decisions.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design the payment solution, lead requirement engineering, and define all requirements so that delivery/implementation teams know exactly what to implement.
  3. Proactively support sales teams in identifying strategic targets for our payment solutions.
  4. Identify areas for strategic expansion of our payment solutions and negotiate on strategic topics with external partners.
  5. Collaborate with our payment ecosystem partners (e.g. credit card providers) to identify alignment needs and problem-solving for customers along selling and solution design phases.
  6. Work closely with product development, marketing, and other relevant teams to ensure a cohesive approach to developing and promoting payment solutions in your respective market. Provide valuable input based on customer feedback and market trends.
  7. Be the first point of contact for corporate clients and external partners for all questions related to our payment solutions and implementation.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the company's payment products, technologies, and go-to-market strategy. Lead product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our payment solutions.
  9. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to customize payment solutions according to client needs. Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the sales process and ensure effective resolution.
  10. Provide transparency and regularly communicate to leadership on the status of technical sales based on input and output metrics.
  11. Act as an internal subject matter expert (SME) on our payment solutions and virtual payments for HRS sales, product, and marketing teams.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to offer strategic insights that align with the client's business goals.
  13. Regularly provide training sessions to foster payment knowledge within Greater China.
Requirements
  1. Min. 3 years in a product marketing role in a FinTech, Payment, SAAS, or B2B company.
  2. Positioning: ability to develop effective positioning strategies to communicate our value proposition to the target B2B audience.
  3. Market and Customer Understanding: Proficiency in conducting market research, analyzing data, and identifying customer needs to tailor marketing strategies that resonate with B2B customers.
  4. Messaging and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create compelling product messaging and sales collateral for different marketing channels.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing communications, to ensure successful product launches and campaigns.
  6. Analytical and Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze data, monitor marketing performance metrics, and use insights to make informed decisions and continuously optimize marketing efforts for better results.
  7. Fluent in Mandarin and English both written and spoken.
