About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Western Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the Western Restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Western Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the food server using the hotel's point-of-sales system.
- Minimum five years of administrative experience preferably in a hospitality or restaurant-related field or other equivalent experience is required.
- Requires knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment including word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Has strong interpersonal skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.
- Requires basic computer skills for online training.
- Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English and Chinese language.
