Assistant Manager - Dining Room

Hyatt Corporation is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to oversee the dining room operations. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to manage the dining area effectively, ensuring that service is courteous, professional, and adaptable to guest needs.
  • Actively participate in daily operations, especially during peak hours, to provide hands-on leadership and support to the team.
  • Maintain and enforce inventory levels for all operational supplies and equipment to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Assist in conducting monthly inventory assessments to monitor supplies and equipment.
  • In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, lead daily briefings to staff regarding service expectations, menu details, and preparation standards.
  • Work closely with the Culinary Department to ensure quality control and operational efficiency.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings to effectively recommend and promote items to guests.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas at all times.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping Department to adhere to established cleaning schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair reports.
  • Address all guest inquiries and requests regarding food, beverages, and service with professionalism.
  • Foster positive relationships between staff and guests to enhance the overall dining experience.
