Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical strategic customer projects globally, ensuring the organization maintains high application competence, and transferring knowledge to local FUCHS affiliates.

Main Accountabilities

  • Prime contact for product and application expertise in drive shafts and automotive bearings globally.
  • Support business segment manager in profitable growth through application know-how and technical expertise.
  • Drive technical customer projects globally and develop proposals for new products and applications.
  • Provide technical support to sales and local application engineers, including product recommendation and technical advice.
  • Compile and share knowledge related to global application on FUCHS experience and competition products.
  • Conduct technical trainings for local sales and application engineers.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager for activities supporting product life cycle management, approvals, and training.
  • Regular visits of key customers.
  • Strong collaboration with sales, R&D, and local affiliates/divisional and central departments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a technical field, preferably chemistry, chemical, mechanical, or materials.
  • 10 years of experience in the key industry, e.g., chemical, lubricants, or relevant global business segment.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • High willingness to travel globally.
  • Good command of MS Office.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a global, regional, and local team.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
