Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Global Travel Coordinator to join our dynamic Procurement team based in the APAC region. As a key member of the KLA Procurement team, you will support the Global Travel Manager and her team, working closely with APAC regional leaders to ensure they receive exceptional service from our travel partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with regional account managers and local FCM offices to deliver outstanding service to travelers and travel managers. Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any issues that may arise.
  • Work with local KLA offices and employees to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the global travel program and policy.
  • Hold regular business reviews with local suppliers and KLA personnel to maintain strong relationships and drive efficiency.
  • Negotiate local agreements with air carriers, car rental agencies, and other travel-related suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Support the Global Hotel RFP process, working with local APAC regions to gather feedback on hotel inclusion and exclusion.
  • Contribute to the local credit card program, collaborating with the Global Credit Card Manager to resolve any local issues.
  • Maintain travel policy compliance, monitoring, and enforcement across the organization.
  • Develop and implement global processes, procedures, and tools to drive efficiency and enhance the travel program.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of global travel programs and their operational requirements.
  • Able to negotiate and implement agreements with suppliers.
  • Ability to develop and execute a local travel strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration with internal clients, suppliers, and management.
  • Experience supporting teams remotely and globally, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Dedication to client service and finding creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving business environments and priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, and DocuSign.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a leadership or coordination role.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
