Job Summary

Avantor is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Service Engineer to join our team. As an Equipment Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and service support to our lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. On-site maintenance inspection and service support: Assist lab scientists in maintaining lab equipment in good working condition, including troubleshooting and contacting equipment vendors as needed.

2. Service application: Assist in submitting service applications for parts and consumables, as well as coordinating with external engineers for field service.

3. Order placing: Submit documents to order necessary reagents and consumables for regular maintenance needs.

4. Validation management: Assist in equipment verification plans, prepare necessary reagents and consumables, and assist with on-site verification.

5. Preventive maintenance management: Schedule and allocate preventive maintenance tasks for equipment.

6. Training management: Coordinate with scientists and vendors to arrange new equipment training and collect training records.

7. Equipment data management: Maintain equipment information, including registration, updates, and on-site status updates.

Requirements

1. College degree or above, preferably in chemistry, engineering, or automation.

2. 2+ years of experience in equipment-related work, with a preference for equipment verification service experience.

3. Experience in flow cytometry operation/maintenance, Agilent/Waters/Sciex equipment maintenance is preferred.

4. Self-driven, responsible, and excellent customer communication and coordination skills.

5. Strong hands-on ability and independent on-site troubleshooting ability.

6. Basic English reading ability.
