Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and record messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage and maintain filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process employment applications, interview documentation, and records in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and type office correspondence using a computer, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Audit and coordinate the distribution of paychecks to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Communicate with applicants regarding job offers and I-9 employment verification forms.
  • Create new employee personnel files and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Design and update employee communication bulletin boards to promote employment, recruitment, transfers, and promotions.
  • Post necessary legal or regulatory notices related to Human Resources in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • License or certification not required.
