Human Resources Coordinator

About the Role
Marriott International is seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and record messages in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for applicant interview documentation and records
- Process employment applications efficiently and accurately
- Create and type office correspondence using a computer, adhering to company standards
- Audit and coordinate distribution of paychecks, ensuring timely payment
- Communicate essential employment documentation to new hires for I-9 verification
- Establish and maintain employee personnel files
- Design and update employee communication bulletin boards with relevant information
- Post required legal notices in visible areas, adhering to regulatory requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
