Job Description

As a Strategic Communications Specialist - Global Sales Effectiveness at IQVIA, you will play a critical role in delivering presentation support for high-value strategic opportunities. You will work closely with Business Development, Project Leaders, Therapeutic Strategy Leads, Medics, and other key team members to provide effective communication, training, technology, process improvement, and data analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver presentation support for high-value strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the entire Global Sales Organization, proactively monitoring all high-value or strategic opportunities.
  • Travel frequently (approximately 24 times per year) to support the bid defense team, including message development, slide design, and leadership of breakout groups.
  • Function as a local subject matter expert for specified market segments, R&D bid defense support, and targeted accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze internal and external data to develop business insights, implications, and recommendations for action.
  • Manage CRM analytics for bid defense support.
  • Interface with external agencies and internal functional groups to execute agreed-upon plans/programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with expertise in PowerPoint and the ability to implement design and messaging feedback quickly.
  • Ability to partner well and gain alignment in a highly collaborative, fast-paced group.
  • Intelligence, curiosity, self-starter, and ability/willingness to learn quickly.
  • Fast decision maker and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Flexibility, integrity, and tenacious problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SalesForce.com and video creation/production is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a willingness to ask difficult questions and influence upwards.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
