International Freight Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Forwarding Agent to join our team at C.H. Robinson. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and operating the shipment lifecycle of our global freight.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Understand and apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.
- Facilitate Relationships: Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and creative problem resolution.
- Customer Service: Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution.
- Reporting and Documentation: Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
- Education: High school degree or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Global Forwarding experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
- Customer Service Skills: Proven track record of strong customer service skills, interacting with customers and being client-focused.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
