The role of Senior Life Insurance Product Manager at HSBC involves planning, developing, and managing life insurance products to achieve business targets, enhance client experience, and drive distribution channel growth.

As a key member of the team, you will lead the planning and development of new life insurance products, including proposition development, pricing, system implementation, training, service, communication, and promotion.

You will also participate in group product management projects, coordinate internal stakeholders across functions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the overall objective of managing and developing life insurance products.
  • Leading the planning and development of new life insurance products.
  • Maintaining product performance monitoring and analysis, and ensuring product management tool establishment.
  • Participating in group product management projects and coordinating internal stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong knowledge of the life insurance market, business model, and business performance.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good technical skills, product knowledge, and business sense.

Requirements include:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, particularly life insurance/wealth management products retailing to mass affluent or high net worth.
  • Proven experience of Insurance/Retail Wealth product implementation and product management.
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to influence, engage, and lead in a positive and inspiring manner.

Education requirements include a University degree in a relevant discipline, with an Actuarial background being highly preferred.
