Job Title: Global Commodity Manager

We are seeking a seasoned supply chain professional to join our team as a Global Commodity Manager. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing the company's commodities strategy, ensuring the procurement of high-quality commodities at optimal prices, and mitigating supply chain risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company's commodities strategy, overseeing sourcing strategy for specific commodities across NPI through Mass Production.
  • Deploy global supply chain activities, risk mitigation, and higher resiliency in reaction to new requirements of compliance.
  • Evaluate, select, and qualify suppliers, recommending new suppliers to stakeholders through alternative sourcing and negotiating favorable C&T for the best benefit of the company.
  • Market intelligence: assess through multiple information sources to follow market trends and proactively identify potential supply chain issues, followed by effective risk mitigation.
  • Act as a higher level of escalation point for supply disruption issues, taking efficient and strategic actions to prevent and solve complex issues for revenue attainment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Operations teams and leverage Power BI and other world-class tools to optimize supply chain processes and improve collaboration amongst Operations teams.
  • Analyze data and present results to help management identify key trends for decision-making in a variety of domains.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and above, majored in engineering or supply chain management, etc.
  • Professional Certification like CPSM/CIPS/CPPM/PMP is preferred.
  • At least 5 years in sourcing, supply chain, or commodity management.
  • Experience of EMS factory supply chain management, knowledge about data center and networking products is a plus.
  • Advanced modeling and predictive analytical skills; 'Advanced User' of MS Office. Experience with system tools like Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Windchill, and Agile is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good English command, with the ability to present to management required.
