Position Overview

The role of the Relationship Manager is pivotal in driving the success of our client engagements and enhancing the overall customer experience at DBS Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve set objectives through effective client prospecting, strategic marketing initiatives, and new client onboarding.
  • Oversee and nurture both new and existing client relationships to maximize returns.
  • Proactively cross-sell and advocate for the Bank's diverse range of products and services.
  • Provide high-quality underwriting recommendations, utilizing sound judgment and a consistent approach aligned with the Bank's credit policies.
  • Ensure the precision of regulatory administration and legal documentation to safeguard the Bank's interests.
  • Meet established risk KPIs to maintain operational integrity.

Job Duties

  • Formulate and implement a marketing strategy, engage with target clients, and negotiate favorable terms for new agreements.
  • Assess and evaluate potential exposure to both new and existing client relationships, conducting ongoing risk reviews.
  • Enhance returns from client portfolios by effectively promoting the Bank's offerings.
  • Ensure timely and compliant facility documentation and administration, addressing client banking needs efficiently.
  • Manage business risks within acceptable limits, particularly focusing on non-performing loan (NPL) risks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the banking sector, with a focus on relationship management and leveraged finance products.
  • Strong market intelligence and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Proficient in product structuring and financial projections.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and policies.
  • Experience in cross-selling investment banking solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient in credit risk evaluation.
  • Able to cultivate and manage relationships with all business stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team dynamics.
