Position Overview

The Client Relationship Executive plays a pivotal role in fostering and managing client relationships within DBS Bank. This position is designed for a contractor who will focus on driving client engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet established objectives through effective client prospecting, strategic marketing initiatives, and successful acquisition of new clients.
  • Oversee and nurture both new and existing client relationships to maximize returns.
  • Proactively promote and cross-sell the bank's diverse range of products and services.
  • Provide high-quality underwriting recommendations grounded in sound judgment and consistent methodologies that align with the bank's credit policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all regulatory and legal documentation related to client facilities, safeguarding the bank's interests.
  • Monitor and achieve risk-related key performance indicators (KPIs).

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, engage with target clients, and negotiate favorable terms for new agreements.
  • Assess and evaluate potential exposure to both new and existing client relationships, conducting ongoing risk reviews.
  • Maximize returns from client portfolios by effectively cross-selling and promoting the bank's offerings.
  • Ensure timely completion of facility documentation and compliance with relevant laws and banking regulations while addressing client banking needs.
  • Manage business risks, particularly non-performing loan (NPL) risks, to maintain them within acceptable levels.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the banking sector, with a focus on relationship management and leveraged finance products.
  • Strong market intelligence and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Proficient in product structuring and financial projections.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and policies applicable in the region.
  • Experience in cross-selling investment banking solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a customer-centric approach.
  • Competence in credit risk evaluation.
  • Able to effectively manage relationships with all stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player committed to contributing to team success.
