Job Overview
Sales Representative - Business Development is a critical role at Agilent Technologies Inc. This position requires an individual with excellent sales and business development skills to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
About the Role
This Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Agilent products to end-user customers, representing the company in sales activities, and promoting and selling products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate existing and/or new sales for assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry, or account lists;
- Identify and recruit strategic partners to embed and/or resell company products;
- Promote and sell products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners;
- Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans;
- Develop customers and maintain their satisfaction;
- Maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent;
- Post-graduate certification and/or license may be required;
- Typically, at least 4+ years of relevant experience for entry into this level.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Agilent offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Work Environment
This role requires frequent travel (50% of the time) and involves working in a fast-paced sales environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
