About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Director to join our team at Continental. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse and distribution operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in logistics, with a strong background in market distribution and transportation management. They will be responsible for overseeing our warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes are aligned with Continental's standards. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in eLiSA and TMS LKU systems, as well as knowledge of SAP.

A critical aspect of this role will be managing our service providers, ensuring that they operate within contract terms and conditions. This includes monitoring KPIs, organizing regular review meetings, and conducting periodic audits.

The Logistics Operations Director will also be responsible for analyzing our distribution model, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. This will involve working closely with our finance team to ensure that all costs are aligned with our annual budget.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our customer deliveries are met on time, and that any discrepancies are resolved promptly. They will also oversee our import and export activities, ensuring that all customs clearance charges are within contracted terms.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a qualified commercial education, preferably in the logistics field. You will also require significant experience in logistics, including project management and team leadership. Knowledge of SAP and experience with eLiSA and TMS LKU systems would be advantageous.

You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Experience working in an international company would be beneficial, as would a deep understanding of cultural diversity.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses. The total compensation package is estimated to be around $150,000 per annum.
