Job Description

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of software products by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios to validate software functionality and identify defects.
  2. Collaborate with development teams to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control and peer review.
  3. Implement automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  4. Design and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software meets business requirements.
  5. Develop and maintain test environments, test plans, and test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
  6. Identify and report defects, providing clear descriptions and replication patterns.
  7. Provide timely and accurate status reports to stakeholders, ensuring good quality of interaction and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical knowledge of testing tools, automation tools, and customization.
  • Ability to follow standards and norms to produce consistent results and reduce risk.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex testing issues.
