Our dedicated professionals cater to millions of clients globally, covering the full range of private wealth, from personal banking for individuals and families to services for business owners, investors, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We offer a variety of products and services, including bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, asset management, insurance, wealth management, and private banking, tailored to meet our clients' diverse needs.

We are currently looking for a seasoned expert to join our team.

In this position, you will:

· Develop and convey investment portfolio strategies that align with HSBC's overarching perspective to both internal stakeholders (Sales Managers, Premier Relationship Managers, and Investment Product Experts) and external clients.

· Conduct regular assessments of investment portfolio performance and modify strategies based on the latest insights and product updates.

· Oversee product performance and collaborate closely with internal and external product development teams to enhance post-sale services.

· Analyze current product sales and portfolio composition to identify challenges and solutions that promote a healthy customer portfolio.

· Create internal training resources on portfolio strategies and investment product insights for internal stakeholders.

· Develop external seminar materials that reflect HSBC's investment perspective and serve as a keynote speaker at customer seminars organized by the distribution network.

· Provide customized high-net-worth client portfolio review reports to Premier Relationship Managers and Investment Product Experts.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

· Knowledge and experience

· A minimum of five years of experience in leading financial institutions within the wealth management sector. Experience as an investment strategist, investment counselor, product expert, or financial advisor is preferred.

· For internal candidates, at least one year of experience as a Product Expert or Investment Counselor in WPB.

· In-depth knowledge of allocation strategies and specific financial products (structured products, FX, investments, trusts, estate planning, retirement, protection, mortgages, etc.), financial markets, economic cycles, asset allocation, and regulatory requirements pertinent to these products.

· Strong analytical skills utilizing Bloomberg, Morningstar, and Factset tools.

· Excellent presentation skills, capable of delivering logical, insightful, and easily comprehensible seminars.

· A solid understanding of global anti-money laundering standards.

· Accreditations

· Attain necessary professional and regulatory qualifications as mandated by the market.

· Meet any internal standards as required by the country.

· Leadership capabilities

· Possess or develop an understanding of the immediate regional Global Wealth Strategy and the ability to plan activities accordingly.

· Demonstrate ambition in delivering the highest standards of service to colleagues and clients.

· Exhibit the ability to set ambitious goals for oneself and the capability to achieve these with determination and resilience.

· Be a mature professional capable of managing the psychological fluctuations of internal and external stakeholders during market volatility.

· Exhibit authenticity and self-motivation to deliver results promptly.

· Make informed decisions that safeguard HSBC and our clients.

· Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations.
