Your role at NTT DATA
The Cross Technology Support Engineer (L3) is an experienced engineering position, tasked with delivering exceptional service to clients by proactively diagnosing and resolving technical incidents and challenges.Through anticipatory service incident management and resolution efforts, alongside product evaluations, operational enhancements, and quality assurance, this role ensures a high standard of service delivery to clients.
The main goal of this position is to uphold zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. The Cross Technology Support Engineer (L3) is accountable for managing complex tickets, executing advanced and intricate tasks, and providing solutions to a wide array of challenging issues.
This role necessitates significant judgment and independent analysis within established policies and practices, applying analytical reasoning and extensive technical knowledge to achieve client objectives while mentoring junior team members across various functions.
The Cross Technology Support Engineer (L3) operates across multiple technology domains, including (but not limited to) Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration, and may also contribute to project work as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures that the designated infrastructure at client locations is configured, installed, tested, and fully operational. Conducts necessary checks, utilizes monitoring tools, and responds to alerts. Identifies issues and errors proactively and logs all incidents promptly with the required detail. Assists in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support requests. Investigates third-line support requests and determines the root cause of incidents and problems. Reports and escalates issues to third-party vendors as necessary. Provides ongoing feedback to clients and relevant parties, updating all systems and/or portals as mandated by the company. Actively seeks opportunities for work optimization, including automation possibilities. Coaches L2 teams in advanced technical troubleshooting and interpersonal skills. May oversee and implement projects within the technology domain, ensuring effective and timely delivery per client requirements. May participate in implementing and conducting Disaster Recovery functions and tests. Performs any other related tasks as required.Knowledge and Attributes:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience). Relevant certifications that enhance qualifications for the role (certifications carry additional weight). Relevant certifications include (but are not limited to) - CCNP or equivalent certification, CCNP in Security or PCNSE certification, Firewall Vendor related certification, advanced technical certifications like CCIE, CISSP, VMware Certified Professional: Data Centre Virtualization, VMware Certified Specialist – Cloud Provider, Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert, AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate, and others.Required Experience:
Extensive experience in Managed Services managing complex cross-technology infrastructure. Significant experience in an Engineering role within a medium to large ICT organization. In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes. Experience working with vendors and/or third parties.Workplace type:
