Key Responsibilities (What does the role entail?)

1) Collaborate with internal teams, local units, and external partners to oversee and execute business projects throughout their lifecycle.

2) Engage proactively with business and service units to drive transformation, enhance customer experiences, and optimize processes.

3) Coordinate with local and cross-regional teams to implement system improvements and address ad-hoc requests.

4) Facilitate IT transformation initiatives including re-platforming, site reliability engineering, application modernization, and patch management.

5) Maintain effective working relationships with service providers, focusing on production issue analysis and resolution within service level agreements.

6) Ensure compliance with organizational policies, processes, and methodologies, particularly in software development, project management, and infrastructure deployment.

7) Manage risks, incidents, vendor relationships, and team dynamics effectively.

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills and Competencies (What skills are needed for this role?)

1. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in banking products and platforms, including regulatory reporting.

2. Strong understanding of end-to-end banking processes is preferred.

3. Experience in business analysis and translating requirements into detailed technical designs.

4. Proven project management skills with familiarity in SDLC and Agile methodologies.

5. At least 5 years of project management experience.

6. Proficient in both spoken and written English, with strong communication skills across diverse teams.

7. Attributes such as proactivity, positivity, independence, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.

8. A Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a background in banking or fintech.

9. Familiarity with various technical skill sets is advantageous, including:

- UNIX, Solaris, AIX, Linux, Windows

- Database technologies like MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL, DB2

- Tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Maven, Git, Docker, Kubernetes

- Programming languages including Java, C++, C#, Perl, Python, .NET, PL/SQL, JavaScript

- Cloud technologies and automation tools.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
