Position Overview:

The role involves overseeing the establishment and daily management of a demonstration laboratory, which includes comprehensive planning, technical specifications, procurement of equipment (with necessary approvals), and the installation and commissioning of said equipment. A structured daily management process will be developed to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support lead generation efforts by creating marketing and sales materials, including presentations, application notes, and technical documentation for clients. Participate in seminars, workshops, and trade exhibitions to enhance visibility.

2. Assist in closing deals by conducting customer demonstrations, performing sample analyses, and engaging in the sales process as needed.

3. Provide training on applications to customers for designated product lines or technologies as required.

4. Offer technical support or training for assigned products or technologies to both internal and external sales or support teams, enhancing their competence and competitiveness.

5. Develop sales and support resources such as competitive analysis tools, positioning messages, and training materials to empower channel partners.

6. Represent the company at industry and trade conferences within assigned regions, gathering market intelligence to relay back to the organization.

7. Serve as a technical liaison with marketing and application teams for assigned product lines, ensuring timely communication of commercial and technical information.

Performance Metrics:

1. Achieve sales order bookings and growth targets for XRD product lines in designated regions.

2. Improve win rates for XRD product lines in assigned territories.

3. Increase market share for XRD product lines in the specified areas.

4. Enhance customer preference indices for XRD product lines.

5. Improve channel competence as rated by management.

6. Gather and analyze customer and channel feedback.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree or higher in material science or related fields pertaining to XRD technologies.

2. Over three years of hands-on laboratory experience with analytical instruments related to XRD technologies.

3. Proficient in both oral and written communication in English and Mandarin.

4. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

5. Self-driven and results-oriented individual.

6. Strong problem-solving skills.

7. Experience in sales or support roles.

8. Effective customer interaction experience.

9. Background in project management.

10. Experience in laboratory management.
